Gas Charged Hood Lift Supports Shocks Struts Kit fit for Jeep Wrangler JL 18-26

System installation is simple, uses existing mounting locations. Frees up access to engine bay by removing the hood prop rod. All gas springs utilize progressive-rate valving technology. Designed into each gas spring is an end-of-stroke dampening which slows the rate of extension over the final inches of travel. This feature reduces stress on hood and mounting hardware.

Featrures:

• Simple Installation – All components bolt into existing locations. Hood bracket uses hidden insert that utilizes slot in hood for retention.
• Quick Release – All Jeep systems include Quick-release end-fittings. These allow the lower strut attachment to be released so that the hood can be free.
• With quick-release ends free, the hood can be laid back onto the windshield. Just snap them back on for normal operation.
